Learner Driving License

Department of Higher Education provides facility of Learner Driving License will be provided to the first year students in the Government Colleges to make the students self-reliant.

For the implementation of the announcement, following provisions are made:-

• The learner license will be issued to the students studying in the college on verification of all the prescribed documents. No license will be issued to the ex-students.
• The college Principal will depute one Nodal Officer, Data Entry Operator, clerk and other official for the purpose of issuance of license to the students and the list of these official shall be sent to the District Informatics Officer (NIC) of the concerned District and the updated information will sent to DITS/NIC from time to time. Nodal Officers will ensure that only one number of applicant is registered for submission of application for obtaining learner’s license and that registered mobile number will not be repeated in case of any other applicant purpose. The Transport Department provides a unique code to the Principals to apply Learner Driving License. No Learner Driving License will be issued to an ex-student.

The Learner Driving License fee is deposited in the Govt. Head (i.e.0041) and the DITS fee is to be deposited in the relevant receipt head of the college.
